Atlanta CorpsVets - Georgia's drum and bugle corps
The Atlanta CorpsVets got the 2009 season swinging with our first open house. A good mix of veterans and new members gathered at Alexander High School to meet staff and hear about the 2009 production Southern Suite.

The day started with Executive Director David Stollberg, PhD outlining the corps' plans for the upcoming season including rehearsals, shows and the always popular fundraising.
It was then Assistant Director Bradley Hood's turn to talk about the 2009 production and introduce the creative and instructional staff which includes the return of Alan Armstrong as Visual Caption Head, Calvin Kelly as Percussion Caption Head, Detrick Tilley as Color Guard Caption Head, and David Henry as Brass Caption Head and Program Coordinator. The 2009 staff sees several veterans of the corps moving to the instructional ranks including Chris Key (Color Guard), Chris Sink (Visual), and Matt Young and Cory Green (Percussion). The Brass staff is joined by two talented local musicians: Jerry McEver and Tom Gibson D.M.A. With introductions done, it was time to break up and get to work.
